4 Bible Verses For Your Confidence
Hi Beautiful,
We may not have done everything that we had on the list this month or year, but we have kept on going.
We are grateful that we got through it and worked on it. I want to encourage you in this season to build on and step out on not only faith but your confidence.
Understand that the enemy imitates God, instead of seasons of sowing and harvest, the enemy can keep you in cycles of bad habits, lack of trust, pain, anxiety and poverty. So take a moment to identify your cycles and what you are running from.
I pray God gives you the confidence to carry on and move forward.
You know that your confidence will come from knowing the word of God, fill up every day on that bread which will break the enemy's lies. The devil cannot change the truth, he can only put a question mark at the end of God's commands. Don't think you can't stand up, that you can try again, that you can speak and move.
God is right there!
"We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."
2 Corinthians 10:5
Pray these words (the truth) over your thoughts so they can shift and align with God's word.
You can do all things, God wants you to win and to give Him the glory.
No more questioning God's power to work in you. Your confidence is in God. Staying on His word will help you recognise the lies and reject them. You can say "I demolish the argument that I am dumb, boring, misunderstood (etc) it sets itself up against the knowledge of God, I rebuke it. I take all my thoughts that try to fill my mind and make it obedient to Christ"
Make those thoughts and words bow down and speak the truth. Amen
"For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds."
2 Corinthians 10:3-4
Strongholds mean pervasive and persistent thoughts (lies/overthinking)
The Greek meaning: echoroma (echo - to hold fast) means a stronghold, fortification, or fortress
Think about that for a minute.
The lies that are forming a fortress around the truth in your mind.
Ungodly habits you've created with doubt and overthinking. That's a habit of the enemy. We combat that with the word of God (Psalm 91) Only God is our fortress. "they have divine power to demolish strongholds" The power of God is enough to break down and demolish every mental stronghold that is stopping you from thinking positively. Another type of echo is from previous words said against you.
We combat that with the word of God again
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
Jeremiah 1:5
You are not ordinary. You have confidence, it's in you. You were created for this time to do those works (that are coming to mind) God wants to use you, even though it's tough right now and you can't see a way out.
Believe in the truth.
